C.R. (Crash Rescue) is the Dallas-based remanufacturer of fire fighting apparatus worldwide. For over 40 years, the company has served the fire industry, and what began as a family run operation in 1967 servicing airport apparatus has evolved into a globally respected rebuilder of firefighting technology for our US military, industrial, and commercial aviation customers.
CR’s directed focus and strategic expansion into new markets has established the company as the global leader in military and commercial Remanufacturing of complex heavy equipment. Having proudly achieved IS0 9001:2008 certification for its quality processes, Crash Rescue provides these varied markets with expert technical support. The REBUILD process typically involves Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting trucks (ARFF), both military and commercial vehicles, and includes the tearing down to the frame, total engine teardown and rebuild, totally rebuilt plumbing, the cab stripped and refitted, body repairs/replacements, paint sealed inside and out, then a completely reassembled truck with requested upgrades and quality tested with a certified final inspection.
Crash Rescue’s New Products include:
· The RMT 2000 and RMT 4000, unmanned aircraft hangar protection with an electronic flame detector and automatic turrets for dispensing Cold Compressed Air Foam to smother the fire and vapor seal a fuel spill.
· Rhino turrets, bumper turrets with powerful high flow, automatic leveling capability, controlled low or roof angle of attack, increased visibility, and Dry Chem technology.
· Twin Agent Systems/ Tri-Max technology (“skids”), mounted onto a pickup truck, trailer, Hummer, or flat bed, instantly converts any standard vehicle into a fast response, maneuverable firefighter. These can deploy Cold Compressed Air Foam as well as have Dry Chemical capability.
